Disney classics are classics for a reason. When you’re four and you’re watching Beauty and the Beast for the first time, you’re swept up in the magical talking furniture and Belle’s super pretty yellow ball gown. When you watch this same movie later in your life, you’re instead rather impressed with Belle’s feminist resolve and Gaston’s song. Seriously, it does not get much funnier than that.
The same goes for Aladin. When you’re five, you have no idea that the blue guy is Robin Williams and you certainly don’t realize just how funny he really is. But you can watch it later as a fully grown adult and pick up on all the references. These movies are excellent at all times of your life. Especially with songs like these.
