Just Because You’re Famous, It Doesn’t Make You Interesting

I discovered this article on Oh No They Didn’t today about the most boring celebrity instagram accounts. You can read the full list here.

People have a tendency to assume that all celebrities must be fascinating in all aspects of their lives because they’re constantly in the lime light, but this is definitely not the case, as these instagram accounts will prove.

Take Jessica Alba, for instance. She’s a very pretty woman and her children are quite cute. In general, the whole lot of them are well-dressed and always presentable. But this does not mean that they’re interesting. Jessica Alba, on every talk show ever, chats mostly about her children. Don’t get me wrong, it’s nice that she loves them. In fact, it’s more than nice that she loves them. That’s fantastic and really quite fortunate, but her children aren’t very exciting either. Or at least the stories she tells about them aren’t very exciting. All in all, they’re just normal.

Miley Cyrus is another one. I don’t understand why people are so fascinated by Miley Cyrus. Yes, she did strange, perhaps unexpected things to her hair, but she mostly tweets about what she’s going to eat for lunch and I swear 90% of the photos taken of her are of her going to or coming from the gym. I don’t even understand why people care so much about her relationship to Liam Hemsworth. They were together for about a million years and now they might not be. No one had an affair or an illegitimate child and neither of them turned out to be gay. Basically just a casual break up. Maybe.

Amanda Bynes, on the other hand…she’s interesting.

No I don’t get the Miley Cyrus thing either. Or Eileen Page or whatever her name is…basically she’s never grown up and men find that attractive…I find it really weird.
